Welcome to the MattyBlue Speaker Machine Shop!
I make ready-to-assemble kick-ass speakers. No glue, veneer, or clamps are needed. No woodworking tools or experience needed. Order a pair of speakers, grab a screwdriver, and blammo, you have a pair of speakers in an afternoon.
My current project is The Pipettes, a transmission line wall mounted speaker using Markaudio Alpair 5(A) drivers. The front (baffle) is solid wood. I am partnering with Bottlehead Corp. on these speakers. Check out their website. They have amazing tube amp kits.
I would love to customize your speakers. Can I dye the front to match your cat? Just ask, it is one of the joys of having a micro business.
I only use high quality materials that will last for many years. Wool blend felt and polyester fiberfill for internal damping. The cabinet is plywood and solid wood.

In the Works...
Out soon is a headphone holder kit. Designed in cooperation with Bottlehead, who will retail it. It features Sapele plywood and solid Alder base. It is trimmed with felt.
After much testing the Pipette subwoofer is almost ready. I have a prototype in my living room and am loving it. Use your own subwoofer amp or the amp kit specifically designed for the subwoofer by Bottlehead.
